Free · one full mock oral · no credit card

See where your child is starting from — and get their plan for the year ahead.

The PSLE Oral Readiness Check is a real, full-length mock oral exam — the same one we sell for S$19 — and it is free. Afterwards you get a report that shows exactly where your child stands today, and a month-by-month plan for what to work on between now and the exam.

How it works

Three steps, about 25 minutes.

1

Tell us your child's year

Primary 4, 5 or 6, and which subject to start with. That's it — no long form.

2

Sit the real exam format at home

Timed preparation, Reading Aloud, then a stimulus-based conversation — the same format and the same scoring as PSLEPrep's paid product. About 25 minutes.

3

Get the report and the plan

A readiness band, the scores behind it, and a month-by-month plan to the oral — what to work on first, and what the year ahead looks like.

What you get

A starting map, not a verdict.

This is one snapshot on one day. Most children score in the lower bands the further out they are from the exam — that’s normal, and it’s exactly what the plan is for.

Readiness band

Where your child's oral stands today, in plain terms — not a raw percentage alone.

Reading and conversation scores

The same dimension-level scoring the paid product uses: pronunciation, fluency, expression, content.

One thing to work on first

The single clearest priority from this attempt, not a wall of feedback.

The year ahead

A month-by-month map to the oral — school orals as rehearsals, the exam itself, and what to focus on in between.

Same engine, no shortcuts

Scored the same way as PSLEPrep’s paid mock exam

The Readiness Check is not a simplified demo. It is one attempt on the same S$19 mock exam, on the same scoring engine, at no cost.

Questions

Before you start

Is this the same as the paid Mock Exam?

It runs on the same exam engine — timed preparation, Reading Aloud, then a stimulus-based conversation, scored the same way. The Readiness Check is a separate, free product: one full attempt, meant to start your family's year, not to replace repeated rehearsal. The paid Mock Exam is for practising again and again through the year.

How is my child scored?

By the same scoring PSLEPrep uses for every paying student's practice and mock exams — pronunciation, fluency, expression, content and language use, scored against the PSLE oral rubric. Nothing about the Readiness Check uses a simplified or different scorer.

What do we get afterwards?

A report showing your child's band and component scores, plus a plan for the months between now and the oral — what to focus on first, and what the year ahead looks like (school orals, DSA if relevant, the exam itself).

Does this predict my child's PSLE result?

No. It is one snapshot on one day, using the real exam format — a starting point for the year, not a forecast. Most children score in the lower bands the further out they are from the exam; that is normal, and the plan is built around it.

How many free checks do we get?

Every family starts with one. If you'd like to check both English and Chinese, contact us — we're happy to talk about it.
